We are happy to tell you that the countries where our lodges are located have opened their borders to foreigners. We invite you to read the entry requirements for each country.

We have created a support service for all passengers with reservations to help with the process and documentation required to enter and leave Chile, such as vaccine accreditation and other steps. For this, send an email to contact@explora.com and add your reservation number to the subject line

We look forward to seeing you!

Entering the country
1) Complete the Sworn Statement at least 48 hours before traveling.

2) Present COVID-19 health insurance (coverage of hospitalization, isolation and/or medical transfer services).

Recommendations

  • We recommend that people with incomplete vaccination schedules have a diagnostic text within 24 hours after arrival in the country.
  • Mask use is mandatory inside the airport and throughout the entire flight.
  • If a positive or suspected case of COVID 19 is detected or reported at the point of entry, the Contingency Plan for that point of entry will be activated.

At the hotel
Masks are mandatory during van transfers to and from the lodge, as well as for transfers to explorations.

If you need help with your vaccine approval process and the documents required to travel, please contact contact@explora.com. Remember to add your reservation number to the subject line.

If you need help with reservations, quotes or more information, please contact our reservation team at reserve@explora.com.

Certifying vaccines is voluntary, but we suggest you do, as this gives access to the mobility pass, which you will be asked for to board domestic flights to reach our destinations. Get it here.

Once the certification request has been submitted, it will be approved or rejected within a maximum of 48 hours. If you have not received a response within that time, a temporary 96-hour mobility pass will be issued.

Entering the country:

  • You must complete the electronic form “Sworn Statement for Travelers” up to 48 hours before boarding,  in which you will provide contact, health and travel information. This form will provide a QR code as a means of verification. It can be obtained at www.C19.cl
  • Random diagnostic tests will be performed at the point of entry into Chile. Confirmed cases must be isolated according to general health regulations (address declared in C19 or health residence).

Important information:

  • The certification of vaccines is voluntary. We recommend that you do so, as it gives access to the Mobility Pass, allowing entry into restaurants, theaters, buses, among others.
  • Use of masks remains mandatory in enclosed spaces and in open spaces where it is not possible to maintain a one meter distance between people.

Recommendations:

  • While a PCR test is not required to enter the country, we suggest having a diagnostic test before entering the country.
  • Starting on 1 May, if you wish to enter as a tourist and you are from Venezuela, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba or Dominica, you must obtain a Temporary Stay Visa prior to your arrival in Chile.
  • Check the website gob.cl to find out more about the restrictions the country may have and the changes that may be made here.
